In SPP Investments, Completion Visa Application must be made until 28.2.2025 in order for Panel Cells that do not meet the Domestic Production Requirement to be considered as Investment Expenditure
With the amendment made on 24.08.2024 to the Communiqué on the Implementation of the Decree on State Aids in Investments (Communiqué No: 2012/1), solar panels produced without using domestically produced solar cells, starting from the ingot slicing stage or a stage before, were excluded from the scope of investment expenditure.
This regulation has created serious doubts regarding investments for which contracts have been concluded or panel procurement has been realized.
In order to eliminate this problem, Communiqué No. 2024/3 amending the aforementioned Communiqué was published in the Official Gazette dated 25.09.2024 and numbered 32673.
Accordingly, if a completion visa application is made until 28.2.2025, solar panels produced without using domestically produced solar cells, starting from the ingot slicing stage or a stage before, will be accepted as investment expenditures. If the application is made after this date, such expenditures will not be accepted as investment expenditures. You can access the relevant Communiqué here.
Sincerely,
