Abdullah Bayrak joins Bilgener Family
Certified Public Accountant Abdullah Bayrak, He joined the Bilgener family as Partner Responsible for R&D and Technopolis Tax Incentives.
He started his professional career as an Assistant Treasury Expert at the Undersecretariat of Treasury and later served as Assistant Finance Inspector, Tax Inspector, Deputy Head of Training Group of Tax Audit Board, Head of Department at the General Directorate of National Real Estate, Advisor to Deputy Minister and Group Head of Revenue Administration within the Ministry of Finance.
As a representative of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, he was a member of the R&D and Design Centers Evaluation and Audit Commission for 3 years. As a result of this duty, he took an active role in the application and annual activity evaluation of many R&D and Design Centers and actively worked on the legislation of the Law No. 4691 on Technology Development Zones and the Law No. 5746 on Supporting Research, Development and Design Activities.
As the representative of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance at the Technology Development Zones Coordination Meetings organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, he gave trainings on “Tax Incentives Provided to Managing Companies and Entrepreneurs Operating within the Scope of Law No. 4691”.
An action plan has been prepared for companies to ensure that entrepreneurs operating in Technopolis and companies with R&D/Design Centers benefit from tax incentives in the short, medium and long term.
On December 15, 2020, he left his position at the Revenue Administration and started working as a Certified Public Accountant.
Abdullah Bayrak has a published book titled “Tax Incentives Provided to R&D and Design Centers”.
