Number of Companies Established in Turkey Increased
A total of 9,560 companies were established in Turkey in June 2021, an increase of 113.4% compared to the previous month.
Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey According to the statistics of established and closed companies for June 2021, the number of companies established increased by 113.4% compared to the previous month and thus a total of 9 thousand 560 companies were established.
Of the 9,560 companies and cooperatives established, 85.8% were limited liability companies, 12.9% were joint stock companies and 1.2% were cooperatives.
In the same period, the number of closed companies increased by 120.5% and 1226 companies were closed.
In June 2021, the number of companies established decreased by 0.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, while the number of closed companies increased by 10.3%.
Company Incorporations in All Provinces
In June, 39.7% of companies and cooperatives were established in Istanbul, 9.4% in Ankara and 6.5% in Izmir. Companies were established in all provinces of Turkey in this month.
Of the companies and cooperatives established in the last month, 3,259 were in trade, 1687 in manufacturing and 1113 in construction. Of the real person commercial enterprises established, 1015 were in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, 555 in construction and 352 in manufacturing.
