Biography

Mustafa Bilgener was born in 1963 in Osmancık, Çorum. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1983, and in the same year, he passed the selection examination held by the Ministry of Finance Inspection Board and was appointed as Inspector of Finance.

Bilgener received practical training on tax examination, investigation, and inspection of the financial administration during his three-year assistant period and became a Finance Inspector by passing the qualification exam in 1986.

He was sent to England by the Ministry of Finance to get a postgraduate degree in the field of European Political Economy at the University of Hull in 1990 and returned to Turkey after completing his education at the end of two years.

In 1993, he was appointed as Chief Inspector of Finance and he has served as a member of the Turkey Accounting and Auditing Standards Board (TMUDESK) between 1993-1995.

In 1995, he left his position as Chief Inspector of Finance at the Ministry of Finance and started to work as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant.

Mustafa Bilgener, who is married and has three children, still works as a managing partner at Bilgener Sworn-in CPA Inc.
