Large Taxpayers’ Tax Office Closes on 01.09.2024
With the Presidential Decree No. 161, the Large Taxpayers Tax Office was closed.
The statement made on the website of the Revenue Administration regarding the transfer of the duties and powers of the closed Department is as follows
“With the Presidential Decree No. 161 on the Amendment of Certain Presidential Decrees published in the Official Gazette dated 3/7/2024 and numbered 32591, the Large Taxpayers Tax Office was closed as of 1/9/2024.
The duties and authorities of the tax office carried out by the abolished Large Taxpayers Tax Office will be carried out by the newly established Large Taxpayers Tax Office Directorate, which will be operational as of 1/9/2024.
In this context, due to the transactions regarding the transformation of Istanbul Large Taxpayers Tax Office Directorate into the Large Taxpayers Tax Office Directorate, the Large Taxpayers Tax Office Directorate will be closed for transactions on 29/8/2024 at 23:59 and will start its activities as the Large Taxpayers Tax Office Directorate as of 1/9/2024.
On the other hand, due to the aforementioned work, there may be occasional interruptions in the services provided to the following tax offices on the same system infrastructure as the Large Taxpayers Tax Office. After the completion of the work, it will be possible to start transactions in these tax offices.
