Regulation Amending the Regulation on Working Hours Not Divisible into Weekly Working Days Published

Summary The Ministry of Labor and Social Security amended the Regulation on Working Hours that cannot be divided into Weekly Working Days and added that the daily working time cannot exceed 11 hours and the night working time cannot exceed 7.5 hours. In addition, it has been amended that the daily working time of those who drive vehicles with professional and heavy vehicle licenses cannot exceed 9 hours, but this period can be increased to ten hours twice in any week.

With the “Regulation Amending the Regulation on Working Hours that cannot be divided into Weekly Working Days” published in the Official Gazette on 27.07.2021 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, subparagraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 6 of the Regulation on Working Hours that cannot be divided into Weekly Working Days is amended as follows

“Daily working hours cannot exceed 11 hours and night working hours cannot exceed 7.5 hours. The daily working time of those who drive with professional and heavy vehicle licenses may not exceed 9 hours, but this period may be increased to ten hours twice in any week.”

The Regulation entered into force on 27.07.2021, the date of its publication.
