The Ministry of Industry and Technology has determined the nature of IT personnel who can work outside of Technology Development Zones and R&D and Design Centers.
Pursuant to the Presidential Decree No. 7103 published in the Official Gazette dated 20/04/2023 and numbered 32169, it has been decided to apply 100% of the working time outside the region / center between 1/4/2023 – 31/12/2023 for IT personnel working in technology development zones and R&D and design centers within the scope of income tax withholding incentive and whose nature will be determined by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
In this context, the nature of the informatics staff of the Ministry of Industry and Technology;
“Graduates of four-year computer, electronics or software-related departments of faculties or higher education institutions abroad whose equivalence is recognized by the Higher Education Council, and graduates of faculties, vocational high schools and vocational high schools other than those mentioned above who work in technology development zones and R&D and design centers in areas such as software, design (chip design, system design, hardware architecture design, etc.), analysis, network connections or related testing and maintenance”in the following form.
