Completion Visa of SPP and WPP Investments within the scope of Regional Incentives can be made with a CPA Report. Changes Regarding Intermediary Institution Requests in Interest Support
Communiqué (No: 2023/1) Amending the Communiqué on the Implementation of the Decree on State Aids in Investments (Communiqué No: 2012/1) was published in the Official Gazette dated 28.11.2023 and numbered 32383.
2012/1 No.With the amendment made in the Communiqué No. 2012/1, the completion visa of the investments for the production of electrical energy from solar and wind energy supported within the scope of regional incentive practices, as in the investments for the production of electrical energy supported within the scope of general incentive practices, The company shall be deemed to have submitted the certified copy of the provisional acceptance certificate issued by the relevant institution for the investment subject to the incentive certificate and the “Certified Public Accountant Report on the Determination of the Expenditures within the Scope of the Investment Incentive Certificate in Electricity Generation Investments” in Annex-11 regarding the minimum fixed investment amount and the regional support class qualification of the regional investment incentive certificates to the Ministry.
This regulation will also be applicable to investment incentive certificates issued before the amendment.
In addition, the following paragraph 13/3 of the aforementioned Press release regarding interest support has been repealed.
“For the application of interest support for the investment within the scope of the same incentive certificate, more than one intermediary institution cannot make a request during the investment period. Provided that the intermediary institution is not changed after the interest support is started to be utilized, transactions can be made according to more than one amortization table for the investment covered by the same incentive certificate. For strategic investments, more than one intermediary institution may make a request for interest support.”
