The Period for Submitting VAT Declarations and Paying Accrued Taxes to be Submitted as Responsible has been Extended
As it is known, with the Law No. 7491, the date on which those who are held responsible for making tax deductions will submit their value added tax declarations was determined as the 21st day of the month following the taxation period, and the payment period of the declared tax was determined as the 23rd day of the month following the taxation period. (30.12.2023/104 numbered Circular).
In the Circular dated 10.02.2024 and numbered VUK-164/2024-2 published on the website of the Revenue Administration on the subject; Starting from the declarations to be submitted as of February 1, 2024, the deadlines for submitting the said declarations and paying the taxes accrued on these declarations have been extended until the end of the 25th day of the month following the relevant taxation period. Accordingly, VAT No.2 declarations will be submitted until the end of the 25th day of the month following the taxation period until a new determination is made.
Other VAT declarations will continue to be submitted until the end of the 28th day of the relevant month.
